Blog Post: Yoga Instructor Branding Session in Bali — Capturing Soulful Stories with Liz & Jenna

There are some sessions that are so full of heart, beauty, and meaning, they stay with you long after you’ve packed up your gear—and this was absolutely one of them.

On a recent trip with Awaken Studio Retreats, I had the absolute dream opportunity to travel to Bali and photograph two incredible women—Liz Radcliffe and Jenna Hansen—for a yoga instructor branding session. We were lucky enough to shoot in one of the most serene and sacred spaces I’ve ever stepped foot in: a stunning yoga shall-a nestled in the heart of Bali. Surrounded by lush rice fields, warm air, and the soft hum of nature, the energy in that space was almost tangible. It was the perfect backdrop for capturing the essence of what Liz and Jenna offer through their teachings.

Liz’s calming presence and deep wisdom radiated through every pose, while Jenna’s strength, insight, and groundedness added a powerful contrast. Watching the two of them lead, move, and hold space for others throughout the retreat—and then getting to turn the lens on them—was such an honor. Their connection, both to the practice and to each other, made my job easy. All I had to do was capture the authenticity already shining through.

This wasn't just a branding session; it was a celebration of the work they’ve each poured their hearts into. The photos we created will help them continue to share their gifts with the world—something I feel incredibly lucky to be a small part of.

Branding photography is about telling a story, and this one was full of soul, intention, and the magic of Bali.
