Fall in Utah is one of my favorite times of year for family portraits, and you don’t always have to drive into the mountains to get beautiful fall family photos in Sandy, Utah! And yes, sometimes Utah fall weather has other plans! 😂 This particular session was a chilly one, so we came prepared. We had backup jackets ready for the in-between moments, hand warmers tucked into pockets to keep little hands cozy, and of course, a few gummies to help motivate the kiddos when needed. I’m all about making family photography as relaxed and stress-free as possible, especially when you have little ones. We’ll move around, take breaks when necessary, and let the kids have fun. Some of my favorite photographs happen in those in-between moments when everyone relaxes, the kids start giggling, and the family simply enjoys being together. Those genuine smiles and little interactions are the moments I want to capture for you.
